Christmas swag

I feel like my tree is finally been complete! I have enough ornaments to hang from the branches and I finally have a tree skirt to hide the hideous tree stand.
Here's a few pictures of our tree decor...

And I just had throw this in of my little guy :)

Over the weekend the hubby and I threw a Christmas party for his co-workers. We had tons of baked goods and did a white elephant gift exchange and watched Elf. It ended up being a great night.
Here is the whole group.

And Christmas would just not be complete without a little homemade caramel corn...and I may or may not have made 10 batches in the last 4 days.

Happy 15th of December, only 10 more days until Christmas! Holy cow, I can't believe how fast it's coming. Crazy!!!

Giving Thanks.

Thanksgiving was amazing. I have so much to be grateful for. Especially this last year, I just feel I've been blessed in so many ways.
Just to name a few things I'm extremely grateful for:
My amazing, sweet, loving, hard working, good looking husband.
My beautiful, smart, growing too fast, sweet baby boy.
My Savior.
The Gospel.
Eternal marriage.
Temples.
My family.
My in-laws.
A house to live in.
A job to provide us with the things we need.
Education.
Food and drink.
Clothing to keep us warm.
And Pineterest (is that a weird thing to be grateful for?)
For Thanksgiving we spent it with my parents and grandparents again. It was so fun to spend time with them. I don't mean to brag, but I have the cutest, greatest, most amazing grandparents in the world. I just adore them and I'm so lucky to live so close to them. Here's just a few photos from our Thanksgiving festivities.

That Saturday we decided to head up to SLC to see the lights at Temple Square. They were beautiful (of course). It's always so nice spending time with family, even if it's in freezing conditions :)
Before we saw the lights we ate at this restaurant called "Blue Lemon," and their food was delisicous. But towards the end Mr.E was over it...

The Sing Off

I just recently became a fan of the show and was sad to see my favorite group "Vocal Point" go. They are a group of boys from BYU that sing a-Capella and they are so talented. Just thought I'd share a few of my favorite performances from them and from my 2 other favorite groups.

Collective of all the groups for Halloween

Vocal Point
"The Way You Look Tonight"

Elvis medley

"Jump, Jive, and Wail"

"I'll Be Missing You" (The main guy singing, his father just passed away, thought this was a beautiful remake of the song)

Dartmouth Aires (another of my favorites, since Vocal Point is out, I hope this group takes it)
Queen medley

"We're Not Gonna Take It"

Last group, Pentatonix
"Video Killed the Radio Star"

Anyways, hope you enjoyed these. Good night.

Happy (1st) Halloween

Halloween was somewhat eventful this year. We actually did something! Saturday night the hubby and I went to Halloween party at one of his co-workers house. At the party, the guy throwing it had these life size figurines of Jason

and Michael Myers

standing outside and they totally scared the crap out of me. They looked so real! Gross. And my husband was quite proud of his costume, he was a zombie and won the best costume contest. He was/still is pretty stoked about that. But I hate scary Halloween things but love the cute part. And the cute part being, my son :) Monday night we headed over to my brother-in-law's house to go trick or treating with them and my nephew. I forgot how speedy little kids are when it comes to free candy ha. Man, those kids took off from house to house, we ended up "losing" them after 5 minutes. Whoops. Anyways, here are so pictures from our Halloween weekend.

So I was a rainbow...

And here is my zombie husband...eating braaaaainnnsss.

The couple

And the cutest of them all, my little Russell from Up.

The fam.

There is this house by in my brother-in-law's house where they have these amazing pumpkin carvings. There must have been about 50 carved pumpkins. We only took a couple pictures of some of them. Sorry for the blurry one.

So I guess it's safe to say, we had a great first Halloween. Hope yours was just as fun.

Pumpkin Patch

Okay, so this place is no Lombardi's Ranch (those of you from Valencia will know what I'm talking about) but it was special because it was both of my boys first experience going to a pumpkin patch. What, the husband has never been to a pumpkin patch? Is he from another country or something? Well yes, he is :) And it's also his first year really celebrating Halloween and he's so excited for it. It's rather cute to be honest. So anyways, yesterday we bundled up and packed up our little one and headed to this little nursery that had a tiny "pumpkin patch." And oh. my. gosh. It was SO COLD! It was windy (not my favorite) and about 48 degrees. What?! Crazy cold, and it's only going to get colder. But Mr. E was a champ and made that cold weather his biotch. Ha is that inappropriate to say? Oh well. So we were able to take a few pictures and we picked out the perfect carving pumpkins.
Just an F.Y.I. If you're friends with me on facebook, you've probably already seen these already.
This one is hilarious. I don't know what it is about it, but it cracks me up.

This was one of their largest pumpkins that had the perfect little sitting spot grown into it.

These were just some of their pumpkins and gords they have. And I kind of have fallen in love with white pumpkins. I just think they're so cool.

And here's the rest from our pumpkin patch adventure.

Happy pumpkin picking everyone!

So yum.

Hubby and I found a new restaurant that is worth raving about. It's called Pizzeria 712. It's one of those restaurants that doesn't have a huge menu and the menu changes seasonally but most everything sounds delicious. It was the cutest little quaint restaurant. And I was able to capture a few photos of our night.

Here are my two favorite boys

Me and my cute baby boy

And our yummy pizza

They serve what is called a "Mexican Coke," which is Coca-Cola made with real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, imported from Mexico.
And hubby thought it would be funny to give some Mr. E. But he was only kidding.

The empty bottle.

And to end the night...a couple of funny faces from baby boy.

All in all, a great date night with my 2 main squeezes :)

6 months...

I can't believe my baby is already 6 months old! In 6 more months we'll be celebrating his first birthday. That just blows my mind. I don't think I'm ready for it. My baby is just growing up too fast.
So in celebration for his 6 month birthday I decided to, drum roll please....Post more pictures of him! Shocker right?

Now that he is constantly rolling over, he's always on his belly! Which is a good thing, except he still can't roll back over (belly to back) which gets really annoying when he cries all the time because he's stuck. So anyways, here's how tummy goes for him...

He starts of pretty high, looking around and what not, then it gradually gets lower and lower and then finally he just gets lazy and lays down. But I still think it's one of the cutest things ever when he lies like that.
Next we move on to how he sleeps. Again, because he can roll over, he's usually always sleeping in some weird position.

But I do love finding him awake like this...

And well, I guess it's safe to say that I am little obsessed with my little man, but honestly, how could you not be?
