Chocolate cake in 5 minutes!!!

It is true. You can have delicious chocolate cake in just 5 minutes! It was too good to be true when my mother-in-law told me, but indeeed, it exists! And why hasn't anyone ever told me about this before? So you don't have to wait any longer to get your late night chocolate fix, I will share this recipe with you...
5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar (we used raw sugar)
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug (micro Safe)
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well.
Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well..
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
Then EAT! (This can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night.

And there you have it, chocolate cake in 5 minutes! Oh yeah, and a very small amount of clean up which makes it that much better :)

Special shout out to Bree! Happy birthday! We love you and wish we could be there to celebrate with you. Love you mucho!

Aly, you have done it now. You know how on Sundays you always want that special treat in the afternoon while just hanging out and you might not have all of the ingredients for something big...... well you have solved that. I will have to have vanilla ice cream on hand now just for those occasions. love you sweetie. I am just so impressed with your domestic abilities these days. Is it Paul Mitchell transforming you????
